Exam 1 Interest type Continuous or Compound

Hi,
I studied most of the option related things from Hull and now reading the study material which is confusing me. In Hull all the example and calculation is done assuming the continuous compound interest rate while in study material its compound interest. It’s making some very much changes in the formulas. I like to know in PRM Exam-I which interest rate will be used. Does it continues compound or compound?
