How much to study?
As they say, your mileage may vary. I am not sure if there is any real answer to this question, a lot depends upon one’s background in risk, finance and math. If I were to hazard a guess, I think Exams 1 and 3 take the most time, certainly close to 160-200 hours. Exam 1 has the most material to read through, but it is less technical and a slightly easier read than Exam 3. Exam 3 is quite technical, and some topics take quite long to comprehend. Exam 2 is where it might take you no time, or a lot of time depending upon what your past math knowledge is. Exam 4 is certainly the easiest (from the point of view of clearing the exam) and makes for the most interesting read.
What has your experience been like? How did you prepare and what are you looking to put in. Please share your experience.

Level 1 i studied around 100 hours and probably about 60-70 hours on level 2 but i have a maths degree and work as a risk manager so i have a slight advantage…studying level 3 now and i agree, its going to take more time for sure (150hrs at a guess)
