ICMA Centre PRM DVD Lectures

I am very interested in writing the PRM exam but i dont have a strong background in finance. I’ve tried self study using the Handbook but i’m finding it difficult to understand some concepts.Will buying the DVD’S be of much help preparing for the exam?.Can anyone share his/her experience using the ICMA DVD?.

Hi Adenowo.

The ICMA training is managed by Prof. Carol Alexander, who as you will probably know is the author of substantial parts of the PRMIA Handbook. I raised your question with Carol, and she was kind enough to provide me a response that I cut/paste below verbatim.

I assume you have full details of the DVDs from the PRMIA website, or here

But note that we no longer include Exam IV as the course material has changed.

You will see from the URL above that the DVDs do provide a compete lecture course, of approx. 80 hours, complete with lecture notes and an e-portal with many mock exam questions, fdiagnostic questions and worked examples.
