Hi all – great forum!
I am just starting out here and am curious as to what people bought at the outset.Do people typically just buy the handbook + exam voucher bundles direct from PRMIA and study the material at home or do people also buy the online training bundles that are available?
If I need access to online learning modules – I’ll factor this into the cost now at the outset.
Many thanks!
July 26, 2016 at 12:43 pm #1169AnonymousGuestHi,
I did exam 1,2,4. Studied on my own and handbook only was ok. In preparation for the exam I suggest buying the riskprep mock exams and/or also kesdee ones. They really help to get a feeling for the actual exam and direct your studies efforts.
March 4, 2017 at 4:19 pm #1171AnonymousGuestHello,
did you buy the 299 dollar deal in Kesdee or only the tests?
is there a particular order you did the tests?
thanks

March 6, 2017 at 6:24 pm #1187AnonymousGuestNot sure but I believe the 2015 syllabus is the current one in use and I have not been notified of any changes.
I hope it helps.

June 2, 2017 at 12:52 pm #1167AnonymousGuestHi all,
I want to start preparing for PRM 1 an 2. I bought the official PRM books in 2011 and wonder whether it is worth buying them again due to 2015 changes.
Do you have any idea of the 2015 book changes in PRM I and II? Are they significantly different from the 2011 ones?
June 2, 2017 at 1:08 pm #1197AnonymousGuesti have no idea. i registered in 2015 so i started with the updated material. what i can do is run through the topics in each volume, but even if they are the same the content might be different.
i am prepping for exam 2….hoping to sit for it in September.
i sat for exam 4 last week.
June 4, 2017 at 6:51 pm #1198AnonymousGuestThank you for your response.
You wrote that you sat for PRM Exam 4 last week. How was the experience?
How about the level of difficulty of the questions?
Was the time sufficient?
Did you take any Exam Prep course in order to prepare?
June 7, 2017 at 2:50 pm #1166AnonymousGuestHi – no, I’m actually only getting around to sitting the first exam next week. PRMI. Will let you know how it goes – in terms of prep, I’ve used the Kesdee notes mostly in addition to sporadic reference to the handbooks. And I just bought the RiskPrep exam bank of questions so will use those over the weekend to revise. Thanks for replies !
