GuestGuys,
I have received the printed PRM material from PRMIA which is updated on May 2011. I am planning to take exam 4 and exam 2 together. However, i was going through the exam 2 handbook for maths, its a like theory. there are no practice exercise also. I need to know how can i prepare for it as there is no clear way to it like other text books have. If someone can let me know the strategy how to prepare for it would be really grate help for me. As of now these topics although i have studied in school and colleges, but i do not feel satisfied by just going through the handbook.

GuestThis depends on your math background. I can only say that as I have a math undergrad degree I found it pretty straight forward, but I still had to put in some study time as I have been out of education for a while.
My suggestion.
– Read PRMIA handbook part 2.
– Try out some of the questions on RiskPrep or Kesdee.
– Go over the handbook again, making notes and following the syllabus where they define what you need to learn.
– Try to understand the Excel sheets they provide (this was very useful) which is found in the links section of the handbook.
– Go over the questions again and try to cover your weak points.I found Kesdee questions useful although the questions in the real exam are tougher in my opinion. Also, don’t get bogged down in just learning calculations, you will be asked theory questions as well (follow the syllabus guide).
