PRM book & Exams preparation-london

Hi Everybody!

I havea background in engineering but 10 years of experience in project management, risk management and cost control.
I would like to improve my skills in Risk management and moving to financial matters using this exam.What do you think?

How I can find the PRM handbook? It is available only in USA (amazon)with long time for shipping. Any possibility to find it in london?

Do you think that in 4-5 weeks is it possible to prepare all 4 exams? I have a good statistic & maths background

Hi,

The only way to get the PRM handbook is to buy them from the PRMIA website. I’ve tried searching the Internet for them but couldn’t find any reliable source. Thus, I bought them from the official PRMIA website, one week ago.

I think that taking all 4 exams in 4/5 weeks without any financial background is not impossible but quite a tough challenge.
I also come from an IT background but I have a couple of years exp. in Investment Banking (FO/RISK..).

i don t understand why in the PRMI website the price is much more than amazon but in amazon.com is not possible to order with delivery in London!!!!crazy!

how is possible that in a place like London it is impossible to find this book?

Yes I have ordered the hard copies (full set).
I placed my order on Sunday night. In the confirmation email, it says 5-7 business days to receive it.

I’ve just received the PRM books. It took 5 business days to get them delivered.

Hopefully, they do not look to thick !!!
