Hi,
After some readings, I have decided to pick PRM over FRM exam.
I live and work in London Canary Wharf Business Center. I’d like to know if anyone of you knows an exam center that offer week end exam dates.
By the way, where can I buy second hand PRM hanbdook full set ?Regards,
Kareem

January 3, 2013 at 3:44 pm #890AnonymousGuestI just realized about the online booking facility on Pearson website.
This allows me to select Test Center that provides week end exams.Looks like Feligrace offers saturday exams ! Good news to me !
EdwinRaj,
Where did you buy your PRM books ? Directly from PRMIA or from another source ?Are you planning to take all 4 exams at once ?

Hi Kareem,
I got them from PRIMA online version. And I am going to take one exam at a time. I am going to give my Exam 1 over this weekend, hopefully.January 16, 2013 at 5:07 pm #920AnonymousGuestHi,
I have just ordered my set of hard copies !
Good luck with the exam I !!!
My plan is to take one exam per quarter….pretty lazy I know !January 17, 2013 at 10:53 am #921AnonymousGuestkareem wrote:Hi,I have just ordered my set of hard copies !

My plan is to take one exam per quarter….pretty lazy I know !Good Luck Kareem. If you are from Finance background, you might finish it quicker. I am from IT and it takes good time/effort from my end. For a beginner, PRM material wont be enough at all. I often resort to online resources for more explanations & clarifications.
January 17, 2013 at 12:45 pm #923AnonymousGuestHi,
Basically, I have two MsSc. (one in computer sciences and one in digital signal processing). I have an IT background…I used to code low level embedded-C for mobile phones !!!
But I have switched to Finance (Inv. Banking) about 7 years ago. I’ve been working as BA on several Risk projects accross banks and countries.
I’m taking this exam to add value to my resume ! And maybe to learn/remember a few concepts…September 24, 2014 at 4:46 am #924AnonymousGuestI want to know about whether PRM is easy or tough as compared to FRM and which course has more benefits and easy to pass. Though I got some idea about these exams and of study in this forum so I will like to thank and appreciate for the same.
September 24, 2014 at 9:49 am #891MichaelMemberHi,
I passed both PRM and FRM. In my opinion, FRM is much harder than PRM. FRM is more quantitative and math-oriented, it has 180 questions comparing to 120 questions in PRM. If you need any details, please, ask. -
