So i did exam 2 last week. 24 multiple choice questions.
Why does it take so long to get the result? It’s digitally scored so could easily be done instantly (even a preliminary result such as IMC). What do they do that takes days?
I am in the same boat. Gave last Saturday, Exam 2. Still waiting for the results. This is my last paper and in my experience the hardest one to pass.

Not yet. I emailed them yesterday to ask. If they tell me how many of the boxes I ticked were the correct ones, I can do the sum myself!
I see. Good luck with the outcome. How did the exam go? I am not sure if each question is equally weighted as my previous scores weren’t exactly exact multiples of the questions asked.In my experience, 50% of the questions, if someone has gone through the course can answer them confidently and are more like plug and play, ex: Portfolio SD, GP of a fund, Determinant of a matrix, but the rest is heavy application of the concepts and those questions will determine whether one passes or not.
Ok, I think. In earnest, I’ve forgotten all the questions other than the ones I was unsure about. Certainly a couple of slightly challenging questions alongside a few run-of-the-mill maths questions. Fingers crossed I guess.
In the same boat as well. Took exam 1 (and last one in my case) on May 29 and still waiting. I believe their website says “within 15 business days”… Which is 3 weeks!
In my experience when I took exams at the end of the testing window I had the results very quickly (within 24 hours) and when it was at the beginning of the testing window, it took much longer. Don’t know if the 2 are connected but this is what I noticed.
Hopefully we all get our results soon3 weeks seems really excessive, to just count how many boxes you ticked correctly. I did the exam on 31st, so I guess our results will be out on the same rotation.
I agree, 3 weeks is way too long, especially since everything is electronic.
I agree with above points. I remember, i gave exam 3 on Dec 21 2018 which was Friday and received the results next day, as there testing window was closing on Dec 22 for the year. I have asked them on this issue before as electronic results should be out immediately once its submitted, they said, they tend to review the papers and comments made by candidates in the exam and only after that due diligence, they publish. Surely that is not consistent with results coming out in less than 24 hrs during exam window closure dates. The current exam window for June closes 21-22, i think, I am hoping they won’t delay till then.
