Precisely for the two year rule you should not proceed in that order. Time starts to run from the moment you take the first exam. Hence, leave exam 4 as the last exam since you need the least time to prepare for that.
To compare: typical study times are 3 months for exam 3 and 1 month for exam 4. If you proceed in that order, you have 23 months for the remaining two exams vs. 21 months if you take exam 4 first.[/quote]
The way you mentioned work well only if the candidate passes all the exams without fail anyone. Let’s do an example:assume the finishing time for each exam is is the following:
exam 1: 3 months
exam 2: 2 months
exam 3: 3 months
exam 4: 1 monthIf the candidate follows your order, say, 3-4-2-1, and fails exam 3 once and pass it second time, then the overall time for passing exam 3 is at least 6 months because he has to study it for 3 months and wait for 3 months to take it again.
Then if the candidate fails the exam 4 first time and passes it the second time, then there is another 6 months(including 3 month waiting time), at least.
Thus there is 1 year to pass the first 2 exams and lest only 12 months to pass the rest of 2 exams. which might have some pressure to do so.However, if the candidate takes the easy ones exam 4 first, he can pass it after 1 month. Then take another easy one exam 2 which take two months. So the candidate can finish 2 exams within 3 months, then he has 21 months to study the exam 1 and exam 3, which will give the candidate a lot of confidence and less of pressure. So I think the 4-2-1-3 is a pretty good approach if the candidate wants to build up more confidence to get closer to the PRM designation step by step.
Xiaochuan WuMemberSince all the exams need to be don within 2 years, you’d better arrange your time properly, by passing the easist ones in 1 or 2 months and then spend longer time to study and pass harder exams. I suggest taking them in the order 4-2-1-3.
Xiaochuan WuMemberThere is no VAT fee in my area, so I think it solely depends on the local testing center. There is nothign to do with PRMIA and PRM.

Xiaochuan WuMemberAs of I know, the calculator change is the only change recently.
Xiaochuan WuMemberHi there,
For PRM IV exam, I want to learn from you about how to prepare for the exam IV since there are only some cases and Bylaws.
Is it sufficient that I just follow the PRMIA’s Self Study Guide for Exam IV? I read through the study guide provided by PRMIA and also all the documents for the case and bylaws and I found that the documents have a lot more information than the study guild provided. So just want to sure I am on the right track.
Thanks for sharing your experience. -
